Our story
Beauty that connects past and present
Rasasthya began in Jaipur, among workshops where marble is still understood as a living material — cool, stubborn, and capable of holding a very old idea of beauty in the rooms we live in.
Keep the hand visible. No loud finish. Nothing that could have been made anywhere.
We work with artisans whose families have carved for temples, havelis, and houses. The brief is simple: keep the hours in the stone, and let the room find them slowly.
The line is small on purpose. Murtis, sculpture, pietra dura, and objects for the home — more than a catalogue, still made the same way. Nothing poured from a mould in another city.
Kanishka keeps the work close to the workshop: what belongs in a room, and what the stone will allow.

The name
The essence of wellbeing, grounded in balance.
Rasa is essence, flavour, an emotional experience. Asthya is stability — grounding, being firmly established. Together they are Rasasthya. What we make should feel like it belongs: a Ganesha for a threshold, a box for a dressing table.

The work
Stone, inlay, and time
None of this is fast, and we do not pretend otherwise.
Every block of marble is chosen for its grain. Pietra dura — pachchikari — is set stone by stone. Murtis are cut from a single block. A collection this small is updated by hand, as the workshop finishes what it can stand behind.
A petal is not rushed. A fold of cloth is cut until it sits. Inlay is a conversation between two stones, not a pattern printed on. The last light on a product is as considered as the first cut.
When it leaves Jaipur it is packed the same way it was made — by hand, with the hours still in it. If the product you want is not in the line, we will tell you what is possible, and how long it will take.
